I think Mia Mcgrath is one of the best content creators we have in this generation. I love this philosophy!! Hoping my effective frugal chich era this 2026 <3
Once I realized there was a distinction between being "frugal" and just "cheap" I think this is when my mindset totally shifted. I dont want to be seen as cheap, but I am ok being frugal because I know i'm spending my money on quality items when I do choose to spend money.
Love this description of cheapness vs frugality. Been really exploring my relationship with spending (particularly with fashion but amongst other things) for about 2 years now and feel you’ve really ties off the loose ends on this one for me with this piece. Thank you!
Love the concept and really want to start being frugal chic. It's not that a I buy lots of things for myself - but really need to be more careful where my money goes and keep track and just really focus on what makes me happy and what I really need.
I used to think being frugal means being cheap but I definitely resonate with this identity since I already live like this. Thanks for creating this philosophy and being so open about it.
You've inspired me to start spreading awareness on the importance of financial literacy from a girlie that works in Law for an investment bank! Thank you for these wise nuggets.
Wanting a bigger home so you can host when in actuality just craving more time spent with loved ones really resonated with me

Loved how you reframed the material needs that we all have on the vision board to defining the core need or value you're craving instead. Great read!
