I am a strong believer in being the exception to the rule.
I’ve always been an optimist. That doesn’t mean I ignore the challenges, but I honestly feel (as cringe as it sounds) that if you want to achieve something, you very much can - especially in the day and age of social media and content.
Let’s take me for example, on paper, I shouldn’t be doing what I am doing. I am not a finance expert, I don’t have a finance degree I don’t have financially literate parents.
I have privileges. I lived at home for 2 years after uni, I come from a stable home with supportive parents and I grew up middle class.
But I still am a ‘normal’ person. I went to a state school, was shy growing up and didn’t have a ton of financial abundance.
Now I have:
An £400k+ net worth
£100k+ saved and invested
1m personal brand
And I’m 25.
I know this is completely unusual, but if you have an open mind and you’re actually willing to put the work in, you’re in the right place.
Today I want to break down how to achieve lucky girl syndrome.
And not in the delusional “I just sit there and everything magically works out for me” way.
I mean the kind of lucky girl syndrome where you intentionally put yourself in better rooms, around better people, with better ideas, so more opportunities can actually find you.
Because I think we need to talk about privilege differently.
Privilege isn’t always just something you are born with.
Sometimes, privilege can be created.
