I very so much enjoyed this essay, and it is a reminder for me of something I have sat and thought a lot about which is: find something you are good at and that energizes you and that also helps people and that is the path. Money will then find you. I think it is this simple.
I love this article. Normal is okay, but I don't want okay, I want my uniquely branded life, with a lot of grace and time to spare. Thank you. My key take away is chasing failure, for the rest of January till March, I'll be trying difficult and semi-impossible things. Of I fail, that's experience, and if I succeed, well, my life will be completely changed forever. Win- win really
I really appreciated your authenticity in this essay. Hearing your story really shows how leaning into your genuine strengths and interests opens up so many opportunities for success.
Fantastic. I wish I could have taught my younger self how to invest money (safe stocks/index funds), even as early as my teens. Such a critical life skill I would have preferred to learn in high school, instead of the many useless things I was forced to memorize.
also just wanted to say there's a tiny typo in the second paragraph of "But first, we have to ask, why try to ‘get ahead’?" (havign instead of having)!
Ill add…don’t fall victim to group think…or care what others think. Often time, if you follow the herd, you are doomed to average.
I completely agree! The power that peer pressure has is oftentimes underestimated by people.

Thank you!! I love this take away 😍

this is an amazing read - thank you for this. the "get addicted to failure" piece was particularly helpful and reassuring! xx
The part about your 20s being your unfair advantage is living in my head rent-free now 💭

This was worth every second of my time. Thank you Mia
I wish I have this when I was in 20s, awareness is everything!!
These are things I wish I knew in my early 20s while still working corporate!
Sorry for the random question but who makes the black tote in your featured image?
Act faster than you feel ready is such quality advice. 🫶

Loved this Mia! You're content genuinely changed my brain chemistry at the end of 2025. It's aspirational and I really feel like I can do it too.

I started rejection therapy a couple of days ago, and so far it’s been doing wonder! I’m excited to see where it takes me
My fuel is always to ensure that my boys have a great life and I’ll never be a victim of circumstance 🥰
