This is brilliant - I sometimes wonder how much of our planning and learning matters vs the people we surround ourselves with. I just wrote about how we can think of ourselves as these money archetypes and it would be so interesting to research whether people make more progress working with their same types or with a diversity of these. Yes! This is why I am so passionate about community as a means of creating financial stability, and speaking openly about finances. We don't know what we don't know, and hearing someone speak about how they do their finances or how they ask for a raise can lead us into a positive financial direction that we hadn't even considered before. Remember, we are all in this together!

Absolutely right. This should be taught in schools, at least at a basic level. It’s more useful in life than chemistry or history will ever be. Your exposure at an early age was really down to chance, if you’d had different friends your path may have been very different.
