Wow. What a beautiful piece of writing.

"But the world often rewards audacity."

That sentence in itself was so powerful. It reminded me of the dangers that come with staying within our comfort zone. Of what little changes occur when we allow fear to be in the driver seat.

That line stood out to me too. It’s such a reminder that staying comfortable might feel safe in the moment, but it often keeps us from the very growth we’re praying for.

Absolutely. Its the unconscious price we pay for not getting over ourselves.

This was so beautiful! Thank you so much. ❤️ I have been wanting to put myself out there for the last year socially online and in person, it feels terrifying! Like standing on the edge of a cliff to post something whether that be my life or professionally. LinkedIn is my first attempt.

So inspiring! Been struggling with this for the past weeks. I want to build a better brand (personal brand) and share what I know I can help others with, but the moment I'm in front of the camera, I freeze!

Your post inspired me, it is a tax we introverts have to pay to get out there and get what we want.

Thanks for sharing!

I love love love this post! I only recently (3 ish months ago) started putting myself out there and you’re right, everything you listed as a tax is what we introverts pay. I wrote a blog post about the fact that I am an introvert when I have money and an extrovert when I’m broke because I realized that it wasn’t until I was in a scary financial situation did I force myself to get out of my own head and put myself out there

This really beautiful.

The idea of the “introvert tax” is so real, staying quiet can feel safe, but it quietly costs you opportunities over time.

I love how you reframed visibility as a skill, not a personality trait. That shift alone is freeing.

Such an honest and empowering perspective.

Great article. Thank you

I totally related to the "Quietness isn't a flaw" subheading. This was a good source of encouragement to continue putting myself out there and stop overthinking the outcome.

This is so well written! I've recently uploaded a couple of similar articles about growing up as a very self conscious girl and how I started slowly reframing that into quiet confidence, like just an air of self-assurance! I love this topic so much - I don't think it gets talked about enough <3
